Ulpia has over twenty years experience as a classically-trained harpist and composer. She is specializing in technique and performance skills as applied to classical, traditional, contemporary and original music. She also teaches advanced level improvisation and music creation.

Ulpia teaches all ages and all levels, incorporating theory into lessons, stressing good but relaxed technique.  She also works on reading ability and encourages composition and arranging.  Each student is treated individually, whether they are playing for "their own enjoyment" or hope to become a professional harpist.

Ulpia teaches the harp at her Sydney, North Shore studio.  

Harps are available for rent, if needed, as you must have a harp to practice on at home. Ulpia has a lever harp and a pedal harp in the studio at all times for student lessons.
